Responsibilities

  • Leading UX design strategy for a creator-focused organization, creating consumer product designs for over 100MM users across Twitch Web and Mobile product

  • Working with product and engineering teams across vertical organizations to execute on experiments and product launches, with bias towards action and feature development velocity

  • Manage and mentor a team of full-stack designers, as well as initiate research studies with dedicated user researchers

  • Playing an active role within the design leadership team — drafting the team charter, design tenets, and organizational guidelines, fostering a culture of transparency and collaboration.


Raptr — Director, User Experience & Brand

Responsibilities

  • Led an agile design team in designing Raptr.com website and the Raptr application with 2 million MAUs

  • Collaborated with VP of Product in developing a comprehensive product roadmap and growth strategy for mobile, web, and desktop applications

  • Built and launched a new product from the ground up – Plays.tv – from product strategy, user research, brand development, to end-to-end user experience design

Responsibilities

  • Initiated discovery, helped with product definition, prioritization, and led ux design for the relaunch of Origin.com (June 2013)

  • Led up to 10 designers, as well as external design contractors working on cross platform projects

  • Established strong partnerships with PM, Engineering, Product Marketing, and external creative agencies

  • Defined process and pipeline for design requests from marketing and merchandising teams

  • Initiated interaction design and IA framework for Glimpse.com

  • Directed interaction and visual design for TheFind mobile application for iPhone and Android devices

  • Established design guidelines for visual design system for the TheFind.com
